Why We Spar A Lot

Let us now confess

We are in such a profound love with each other

That we feel urgency to express

This extreme emotion towards each other

Unable to express this extreme

We instead go to the other extreme

And exhibit the other extreme emotion

Creating the strife ignited with the commotion

We smile, We disparage

Our Love itself creates the schism

We engage, We disengage

For our love, sparring is thus a symbolism
